ABOUT ME

I'm a musician from Brighton, England.- I'm going to travelling/working from 20th September in Vancouver, Canada and I'm in need of a kind friendly host! My main hobbies are music (drums and guitar), playing live music, biking (road, touring and mountain), travelling, adventuring, being outdoors, roller hockey, basketball and probably some other stuff :)

I measure success by how you feel when you wake up in the morning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I ideally would like to meet someone who can host and show me around Vancouver! Hopefully, they can show me the in's and the out's, the do's and the don'ts and help send me along my way to living a temporary life in the city :). I'm a relaxed person and always easy going; I'm very interested to meet new people and try new things!

I would like to experience Vancouver from a locals point of view; after all, they always know best. I would like to learn about the best areas, sights, shops, mountains and just about anything worth knowing!

Interests

Been playing drums since the age of 9, guitar since the age of 13, roller hockey since the age of 7, basketball on and off for most of my life, and cycle touring every 2 years since the age of 18.

Always like to play music and also listen to music with new people, show me anything! I try and attempt to do lots of new sports. I like getting to grips with local areas, exploring areas outside of the city and getting lost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled from Brighton to Barcelona when I was 18.
Travelled around Mexico by myself when I was 19.
Cycled solo from Calais to Amsterdam, then with friends from Amsterdam to Geneva. Aged 20-21.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach drums and guitar, and bits of bass and keyboard.
Learn: I want to learn more instruments and another language one day. Spanish would be cool.
Share: I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
