About Me
My name is Samuel K. Forstag, and I'm a University of Montana student studying Philosophy & Political Science. I'm an outgoing individual and a respectful denizen of living rooms anywhere/everywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I'm pretty eclectic with my music tastes. I spent years being absolutely obsessed with classic rock (Stones over Beatles) and still love to listen to bands like Zeppelin, Floyd, Hendrix, etc. I listen to a good bit of hip hop (To Pimp a Butterfly is our generation's White Album), and I like a lot of alternative rock as well a some folk music.
Movies:
I've nurtured an unhealthy obsession with Pulp Fiction & Fight Club since I was about 12, and they haven't yet fallen in my esteem, and I like anything Tarantino. I like a movie that makes me think about more than the size of its CGI budget, though it's not often I find the time to watch movies anymore.
Books:
I spend an inordinate amount of my time reading. Vonnegut is probably my favorite author, with Palahniuk and Hunter S Thompson in close contention. I read a lot of philosophy, and try to read as much history as possible. I'm always looking for a good reading suggestion, despite the legion of unread books that's already taken root on my nightstand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Despite incalculable odds, I emerged from the formless mass as an instance of intelligent, self-aware life. That's pretty amazing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
