Hi! I'm an artist, and naturally love to travel and meet people. I wish that our culture was still the hitchhiker's paradise that it once was, presumably in the 60's/70's, etc. I think that most of the glory of traveling is getting to know the world through the people who inhabit it, so couchsurfing seems to be the next hitchhiking--and hopefully more safe and just as fun and world-expanding!

Lately reading Donna Tart's "The Little Friend", "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Nehisi Coates, and a refresher music theory book. I like to switch between subjects on my kindle and read a few at once.

Music: love classic rock, folk rock, folk, blues, blues rock, gypsy punk!, older hip hop, reggae, classical. I can pretty much find a song in any category of music I like. Much of pop music seems to be doing to music what McDonald's does to food, but there are some good ones in that genre too.
