CURRENT MISSION
Just trying to enjoy my life!
ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Sam. I spent a couple years traveling a while back and now I've landed in Portland, Oregon, the best city in the world. I've been here 9 years and I love it. Although I have mostly retired from long, extended backpacking trips, I still try to get out to interesting places for a few weeks every year, and Couchsurfing always makes those trips more interesting.
PHILOSOPHY
Try my best to enjoy my life and not take things too seriously
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly surfing and socializing in my travels so far, but I am hoping to start hosting people soon in Portland!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've tried to do as much surfing and meet ups as I could wherever I've been and it's all been fantastic! Met some amazing people and had some very unique experiences that I would never have had otherwise.
