Overview
About Me
I'm a science graduate living and working in London. I love to travel, and am currently in a phase of my life where I'm saving for the adventure of a lifetime... what that adventure will be will make itself known to me in the coming years!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the ethic of couchsurfing, and have had amazing experiences meeting people from all over the world; sharing stories, sense of humour, as well as discussing cultural and political differences. I have not yet hosted anybody due to the difficult living arrangements in London, but hope to soon host my first couchsurfers!
Interests
Music is my greatest interest... I could spend days listening to beats, playing guitar, or mixing tunes on my decks. Science is another passion of mine, and I'm always happy to discuss theories and research... especially to do with the brain and the mind! I also love sport - Football, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby, Hockey, Cycling, Climbing, Hiking, Swimming - and am always willing for an adventure. I love the outdoors & nature, just a shame London doesn't cater very well for this...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the world of underground, dark electronic music (drum & bass, dubstep, grime, garage), but am really a sucker for classic rock and jazz - Hendrix, Zeppelin, Miles Davis. Dub, Reggae, and Hip-Hop/Rap are also favourites of mine. The greatest live performances I have witnessed are:
Snarky Puppy, Fat Freddy's Drop, The Prodigy, Damian Marley, Alborosie, Dilated Peoples
I love to talk about and share music of all genres!!!
Lord of the Rings will always be up there but the works of Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino are also awesome.
I love books - fiction and non fiction. I am currently reading The Emotional Brain - a neuroscience book written by the amazing Joseph Ledoux. Before this I was reading a physics/philosophy book called In search of schrodingers cat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Played some beats at Fabric nightclub in London
Teach, Learn, Share
Always willing to do all of these three things - its called friendship, right?
What I Can Share with Hosts
A friendly demeanour, willing to try new things and make new friends from different walks of life. We can talk about everything from politics to the progression of music through the 20th and 21st centuries, to how our brains may or may not work! Always willing to learn and make new friends, but also tidy, respectful, and understanding of boundaries.
