About Me
I believe that we can create a healthy world for all to enjoy. It is possible. We can do it! (At least, we cannot do it if we don't try!)
I would love to host couchsurfers but it’s not something we can do in our current place. 😢
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoying meeting and learning about other people, and getting a local’s perspective on places I visit.
I love to travel but have almost stopped traveling by plane because of climate change concerns. :( Now, I mostly only travel when work gives me an excuse. When I do travel, I love to stay with locals because that is so much more fun! I'm fortunate to have friends in many places thanks to schooling and travels, so even though I don't have many references on CS, I have done a lot of crashing in places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started and ran an organic vegetable farm for five years, selling at four farmers markets a week and to restaurants. It was hard work but was very meaningful and fulfilling. I’m very happy that the farm is still going, run by my friend and business partner.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really enjoy learning from other people's experiences, so I enjoy just sharing our stories.
I read a lot of nonfiction. I also love watching documentaries. When it relates to the conversation, I like to share things I've learned from all my reading and watching.
I have spent the last three years studying how countries create the money they use (monetary system design). It's pretty interesting and surprising how it all works. Part of my research is focused on how to explain it simply. If you are interested, I'm happy to share and see if I'm successful. Haha!
