About Me

Hello there! I'm pretty well just a quirky, friendly, respectful, easy going, open minded and accepting 24 year old who's trying to figure life out and enjoy it on the way. Moved out on my own at 19 years old to Vancouver, and have been supporting myself since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

-to stay and meet with locals! they know the best spots, things to do, and the culture of the areas
-in hostels, you only meet other backpackers. it's great in many ways, but you don't get a sense of the people from the area
-to stay in different and exciting places
-for new experiences

Interests

-being outside, adventuring, exploring, hiking, swimming, really anything along those lines
-trying new things
-meeting new people, making new friends
-relaxing, hanging out, watching movies/tv shows
-reading, sketching, painting
-listening to music, going to shows (live music, theatre, anything)
-shopping and browsing, but not at the average places
-dining out, going for drinks, a nice coffee, or staying in and making a lovely dinner
-animals, especially cats. I will one day be a crazy cat lady, it is unavoidable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I will give anything a chance, usually. The only music I really don't like is country, and hardcore metal. My favorite genres include rock/alternative/folk/bluegrass/hip hop/and some edm, it really depends. Not into the top 40 hits/club tunes, but they can be fun for a night out, just not every night.

Movies:
Honestly I really haven't seen a lot of movies, so feel free to recommend some of your favorites! I like almost every genre as long as it as a good story/is done well. My all time favorite movie growing up is My Neighbor Totoro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled up the east coast of Australia alone. It was/still is my first time traveling on my own and has really opened up new experiences and given me the confidence to travel further.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn anything you would like to teach me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My positive attitude and willingness to participate, as well as help with anything to the best of my abilities.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Scotland, United States
