From Geelong, down on the south coast of Australia.
Recently returned from backpacking through Europe (and beyond) over the last year.
Had some great couchsurfing experiences during my trip so looking to return the favour for travellers down this way. Can offer either with a place to stay or a trip down the coast for a surf, snorkel, camping or bushwalking when I'm free!

I work in medical imaging & radiography
and have a laid back, fun, relaxed demeanor and enjoy meeting new people, exchanging ideas, stories and spreading the good vibes!

I love surfing (waves as well as couches!), swimming, diving, snorkelling etc etc
I'm into a wide range of music, play a bit of guitar and am teaching myself harmonica and piano.
Enjoy watching and participating in sports, literature and getting out to check out cool bars & restaurants.

In my spare time recently I have been hand shaping surfboards for myself and friends.
I've also gotten into hobby photography and just recently set-up a underwater rig so am looking to begin taking more surfing, landscape and diving photographs

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a massive range of music, books and movies!

I have a soft spot for the Australian rock and alternative music I grew up with (in particular The Drones) but also enjoy a very eclectic taste; jazz, electronic, punk, latin, folk, pop, classics, you name it!

Currently working my way through the pages of Slaughter-house Five, PiHKAL, Crime & Punishment and Homers Odyssey.
Some of my favourite books/authors are Shantaram, Lord of the Rings, Kerouac, Camus, Hunter S. Thompson, Orwell, Philip K Dick.

All time favourite movies would consist of The Big Blue, Apocalypse Now, The Life Aquatic, Star Wars!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when it was only my Dad and I surfing a large group of Orcas popped up and swam past about 50m's away. Most awesome/scariest experience I've had!
