About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I've just made it through the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Serbia by bus, train, bike, and by hitchhiking, trying in vain to outrun winter.
ABOUT ME
I'm kinda funny. I can jump pretty high. I can run surprisingly fast. I can cross one eye at a time, and I'm able to raise each eyebrow independently of the other. I have 3 kidneys as the result of a genetic abnormality that is passed down my family tree.
I can make a mean cocktail, and love cooking delicious food.
Some of my friends have called me 'yeast man' due to my love of baking, brewing, and fermenting.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy changes pretty much every hour, but maybe that 'memories are not made of the days that you spent doing nothing.'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am all about meeting new people, sharing experiences and both imparting and receiving local knowledge with locals and travellers alike!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted a few times during periods of travel and change in my life, and have hosted countless times in the past, before I started travelling. I've had some amazing people come through my life because of this - many of whom I still keep in contact with, and hope to see again.
Interests
I'm an avid reader and cook, and love going for pointless strolls around new places. In my spare time I like to bake, though I haven't had much of an opportunity to do this since I've been on the road!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: My Dinner with André, 28 Days Later, The Lion King, The Big Lebowski.
Music, I enjoy very much, and particularly love (but do not limit myself to) noisy tunes to which I can apply my own brand of dance moves.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a once-a-decade display of the Northern Lights in Iceland, on the same day I experienced snow for the first time. Absolutely mind blowing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been told that I'm a fairly good story teller, and love regaling people with tales of where I've been, and what I've done. I can help out around the house and love cooking and making cocktails!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm okay at doing little workshops, so can teach you to make bread without a recipe, or craft a notebook, or do some simple laughter yoga. I can share tales, and also some of my well-travelled kombucha culture!
