About Me

A whole new life for the next foreseeable future. On the edge of my seat to accomplish the dream of a lifetime. Cycling the big blue planet, from Amsterdam to Sydney, Australia. Culture, nature, people, pushing it to the limit and ofcourse: adventure. That's what it is all about to me. Lets share what makes us humans, our cultures and have a good time together. Creating a smile in the human experience. I hope to see you down the tracks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The human experience. Getting to know what makes you you, but not by small talk. Tell me something that keeps your mind occupied, surprise a stranger. The willingness to learn and the exchange of ideology can create great headspace. As people across borders and nations we share a lot but often through politics or misunderstanding barriers to connect are created. Lets bring them barriers down.

Interests

All sorts of things. It changes. Over the last years I have developed a big interest in history and the geopolitical landscape it left us with now.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I watch or stream anything it is usually historically related to a subject or all out fantasy. Recently I have been listening and enjoying a great Dutch atlas podcast

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a lot of things that looking back we're amazing and made me who I am today. The best is right now, the bicycle journey of a lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some juggling tricks. I never really thought about the ability to teach anything to anyone. I can however keep going on about world history and geography that I have studied myself.
