Overview
About Me
I'm an illustrator, painter, clothing maker, educator, founder & director of NH nonprofit arts organization, Wrong Brain. I've lived in New Hampshire almost my whole life (except 2 years while going to art school in Boston). I publish zines, upcycle clothes, print patches, and organize community events.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am doing a 3 month mural tour across the US. I am painting for free at DIY, nonprofit, arts and community organizations for free or for trade. The whole "Mural Mission" is self-funded, with little bits of fundraising here and there to pay for gas. I have an air mattress and a mini-van, but a couch and shower would be appreciated now and then!
Music, Movies, and Books
Neko Case, Pixies, Pinegrove, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Still Life With Woodpecker
Teach, Learn, Share
Part of my Mural Mission is to collaborate with local artists, youth groups or the public to create a work of art. I am also providing workshops on zine publishing, organizing, illustrating, and I'll have my 1.25" button maker with me - for pins! I have been working as a professional artist for 9 years, as an arts educator for 6 years, and as a community organizer for 15 years.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my zines, printed tee shirts, patches, stickers, and I can cook!
Countries I’ve Visited
