About Me

I'm a decade into building software in Silicon Valley. I decided now was a good time to put a pause on all that and go travel for a while. I head to South Korea mid-January, then just wander where the wind blows until I'm broke, bored, or injured. My hopes are to circumnavigate over the year of 2016, but I'm really hoping just to meet some interesting people who can show me amazing parts of the world I never knew.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done the jam-packed vacations before with the spreadsheets and the stress. Every time I do these I get a longing for the wanderers I meet who go where their whims take them.

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people who can show me the ropes and help me find those whims. I want a personal touch and expertise to an area.

In between couchsurfing I stay at hostels and occasionally nicer hotels when I'm really needing some shut eye.

Interests

I'm not so much a partier type of traveler, though I do love a good craft beer.

I love film and other forms of digital media (video games, music).

By trade, I'm always interested in developing software and building products.
