Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student at the University of Bristol, UK. I study animal vision and in a nutshell I spend my day seeing the world through the eyes of animals. I am passionate about what I do and find joy in all aspects of the natural world. I have a reputation of being distracted by lizards and bugs while on hikes and chasing spiders across rooms so as to have a closer look them.
Other loves include mountaineering, climbing, cycling and mountain biking, cooking and of course traveling alongside many other things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet new people, experience different cultures and make new friend. I have previously lived with friends who hosted couchsurfers and I loved the experience of getting to know new people from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
BRISTOL
I've lived in Bristol for over 3 years and during that time I've learned a lot about the cities culture and history (including some of the darker secrets about the cities past). I've also explored the cities many sites and discovered a few hidden gems. I'd love to share this with you if you stay with me.
SCIENCE AND NATURE
I love sharing my passion for science and the natural world with others and I am always happy to talk about my research. Want to know what the world looks like to an animal with polarization vision or how a bee sees a flower? Stay with me and find out.
CLIMBING
Have you ever been climbing before? NO- I'd be happy to teach you.
