About Me
Hey there! I'm an American university student currently interning at a company in Stuttgart, Germany. I love experiencing new things and meeting new people - especially when those things and people are a bit different than what I'm used to. I try to break out of my comfort zone every time a chance presents itself and will try anything twice.
Not accepting Guests until I'm back in the U.S., my apartment here in Germany is just a little to small for that to work (not to mention my lease doesn't allow for multiple people 'staying' in my apartment).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people and hopefully make a couple of friends. I hope to use this platform as a way to find places to stay and people to meet while I'm traveling; I also hope to give back to the community in the future (once I get back to the States) by offering up my own couch and showing people around the town where I live.
Really, the concept of Couchsurfing is just one I can really get behind.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Twenty One Pilots, Stromae, Giacomo Puccini, 2NE1, Matt & Kim, M.I.A., ...
I really do listen to a little bit of everything, though. I'm drawn to music with interesting beats and distinct vocals/instrumentation - and genres don't define that.
Movies:
'Perfume: The Story of a Murderer'(2006), 'Starship Troopers' (1997)...
I'm a fan of psychological thrillers, documentaries, Bollywood musicals, and movies that seek to tell stories in a non-conventional way (non-linear storytelling, etc.).
Books: 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess, 'Das Parfum' by Patrick Süskind, '1Q84' by Haruki Murakami, 'Watchmen' by Alan Moore, ...
I find that I don't have time to read very much, but I do enjoy books that make me think and books that stick with me long after I've finished them.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm more than happy to help out around your home with any cleaning, yardwork, etc. I consider myself to be a pretty decent cook (I make a mean mac' n' cheese and some pretty delicious chocolate chip cookies, if I do say so myself).
What I'd love to share though, are experiences. I'd love to go out and do something tourist-y with my host/hosts (esp. if they have yet to do so themselves), maybe trade stories over a nice meal, share a laugh over a drink, etc.
