About Me

The name is Sam, born and raised in Colorado, USA. I'm a bridge builder by day and a demolition man by night. Lend me you ear and you'll never get it back. My dog is my best friend. My other best friend, not dog form, and I started a t-shirt design company with the goal of using our profits to again bounce around the world.

I am 27 years old and love meeting new people. Two years ago I left on the adventure of a lifetime and traveled around the world. I am currently saving some up to go on another adventure. My last stop was Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided a year ago to not acquire more objects, rather more experiences. Since then I have taken small trips and hosted couch surfers that I simply met in the world. In the upcoming year I am planning to go around the world and I'm surely going to need some help from locals along the way.

Further, I love meeting people and sharing in experiences, what better way to accomplish this than talking and experiencing the local culture while sleeping upon a couch :)

Interests

I studied math in college and that love has never left me since I was six years old. Reading, hiking, skiing, and exploring are other loves. I also enjoy tattoos greatly.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster - This book inspired me to not live a monotonous life.

Most things by Christopher Moore - The man is hilarious.

Teddy Roosevelt's Autobiography - simply an amazing human, not always right, but a strong leader and brilliant mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took an impromptu trek on the Landmannalaugar trail in Iceland.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a mean dish. I'm also able to sing badly and teach anyone to juggle.
