New Zealander on a 5 year journey around the world with a goal of travelling to 100 countries.

I spent the last 2 years traveling through Asia, Europe and the middle east full time and in 2020 im exploring Africa.

Travelled for 20 months in 2015-2016 to America, Europe, south east asia, and 9 months in South America before returning to home for a year to work and save,

Prior to my travels I was working as a banker in Wellington, NZ for 9 years. For the next few years i'm focusing on videography, photography and travelling of course.
I’m very interpersonal, getting along with all people from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of travel is the people you meet. Interactions with new friends from different back grounds and hearing their story is something I absolutely love. Meeting and staying with locals has always been a highlight. Whether it's with existing friends or from couch surfing hosts. I haven't actually used this site very much but i've couched surfed all over the world with my existing network of friends and hosted travellers in New Zealand and my temporary home in bali for 4 months this year.

Interests

Passion for photography and videography which combines with travel nicely. Really enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds and sharing a good old fashion conversation about life and travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a orphanage in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Working with and caring for children and young adults affected by agent orange from the Vietnam war.
