Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a student studying engineering at the University of Michigan in the US. I want to see as much as the world as I can, and not just the "visiting" parts. I'm really excited about being able to share my culture and unique perspective with others and gain a better understanding about myself and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended it to me as a great way to meet new people and get off the beaten tourist track, to explore new places and make connections with cool people!
Interests
I'm a pretty relaxed individual and open to a lot of new things. I'm not super serious, but still always up for a meaningful conversation.
Some of the things that I definitely enjoy are: live music, standing on top of tall things, nature (bugs and all), sports (rugby, soccer, etc.), art (ranging from museum showcases to spoken word to street performances- the whole creative spectrum!), and trying new foods!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I love live music! Especially fond of folk and indie punk style music, but I appreciate a diverse range of songs. Current favorites are Regina Spektor, The Black Keys, and the soundtrack to Cloud Atlas. I'm always down to check out new stuff.
Movies:
I don't watch as many movies as I used to, but I like most anything! I'm a big comic fan so everything Marvel has done I really like. Also a fan of feel-good classics like Mean Girls, and I like documentaries too!
Books:
Some of my favorite series are Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, I also like the authors Terry Pratchett, Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman, and Tamora Pierce. I will gladly swap book recommendations with you- I love reading and am a fan of any genre (though you can tell I like fantasy/fiction stuff haha). Currently reading: Ron Chernow's Biography of Alexander Hamilton.
