I grew up in a very isolated and industrial town and, as soon as I was able to, I escaped to live by the sea. Ever since I have called Bournemouth my home. It is a simple place but I love it for that reason.

I generally like to live a stress free life, I work on the beach in the day and usually entertain myself in the evenings with food and music. I surf when I can, and when I can't I drink coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is fun and one of the best parts is meeting people who share the same enthusiasm as I do. I have found that the people who know the local area best are the locals themselves, so I would like the opportunity to stay with people who can show me how to enjoy their city in the best way. In the same way, I would like to think that I could offer the same experience in return.

In addition, Bournemouth lacks any real backpacker/traveller accommodation and so I would hope that people could come here and experience what this town has to offer without breaking the bank on pricey hotels or B&Bs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love original live music, there is nothing better than hearing and loving a song you have never heard from a band you have never heard of. Other than that I always have the Rolling Stones, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Stone Roses on my Ipod.

Favourite films is way too hard, but I do love Memento and Oldboy.

I love non-fiction. Any book that tells the story of an amazing person.
