Hello couchsurfers! My name's Sam, and I'm a master's student from Canada, currently on exchange in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

If I'm totally honest, I'm not very good at writing these little blurbs about myself, but I promise I'm a nice guy and we'll get along great! :-)

I'm low-maintenance, outgoing, I love coffee coffee-drinking, and I love learning languages. I'm an adventurous and friendly guy who is always trying to learn new things, and getting lost in cities in foreign countries. I play the drums, and a little bit of ukulele, and a huge music fanatic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, I love to meet people, I love couchsurfing. I always try to "live like a local" as much as possible, and I love to spend time with locals in the process! I may check out one or two touristy things, but I'm far more interested in going off the map, and checking out the places where I can't read the menu (or better yet, there is none!)

I've made some amazing connections with people on couchsurfing, and I can't wait to make even more. :-)
