About Me

I'm open and non-judging for people from different cultures and backgrounds, very respectful towards other people's cultures, values and beliefs. I like to travel whenever life allows me that luxury.

Getting stuck in Thailand during covid lockdown made me realize I have seen so little of the world and stared too much at the walls of the same office eight hours a day, five days a week. My path has led me since to study to become a tantric body worker, a life coach and a shibari master, and to take my photography hobby to the next level.

I'm now off to discover how I can sustain myself with my creativity and by helping other human beings to break free of their cages and find their own path.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to connect with like-minded people on my upcoming travels.

I would especially like to connect with people belonging to the conscious community, with interest and or experience in tantra, yoga, ecstatic dance, Eastern philosophies, ...

But I'd also love to meet people who have found the presence in their lives to enjoy more everyday pleasures, like a good coffee in the morning, Italian style, a walk in a new quarter to discover some quirky new place to hang out in, or dancing off the night with latin rythms (I can claim some leading skills in Salsa cubana, Bachata moderna and Kizomba).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm musically quite a chameleon and very mood-dependent listener. I hail from the gothic metal scene of the turn of the millennium, but these days I listen more to different genres of electronic music, latin music and world music. Don't be surprised, though, if I've never heard of the best selling mainstream artist [place a name here].

I used to read a lot of fiction, but the last 10 years less and less so. Here are some non-fiction books that have in one way or other had a big impact on my life and how I view life and interpersonal relations today:

* Reinventing Your Life: The Breakthrough Program to End Negative Behavior and Feel Great Again, by Jeffrey Young & Janet Klosko
* More Than Two, by Franklin Veaux and Janet Hardy
* Anatomy of Love, by Helen Fisher
* The Evolved Masculine, by Destin Gerek

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the pandemic, I have reached and climbed the holy Phu Tok temple mountain in the remote Bueng Kan province in Isaan, Thailand, close to the Laotian border, relying only on my perseverence and limited knowledge of Thai to get there by myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied tantric body work and shibari and can give individual sessions (massages, roping sessions, etc), but I also teach and give workshops. I can also give coaching talks to help somebody to get a better view to a problem they're struggling with.

These are all things I do professionally to sustain myself, but I'm open for a fair exchange of services, i.e. my time, knowledge and energy in exhange for somebody else's time, knowledge and energy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, relaxed company, interesting talks. :)
