About Me

I'm currently on a career break to travel Asia, and am enjoying every minute of it. I want to experience a culture different to my own and learn new things through experience. I am open minded and adventurous, and like to get involved with the reality of a place, good and bad, pleasant or difficult. I'm interested to learn about the history and social environment of the places I visit, and hopefully widen my understanding of the world beyond my own part of it. I most enjoy spending time with good company, drinking, eating, talking and having a laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people who know the place they live. I think it will be a richer experience to know someone who lives in a city, outside of the tourist areas, and who is open and kind enough to share their home for a short time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm clean, friendly and respectful of your house. I can cook quite well (mostly vegan these days) and will make the effort to get to know you and be a pleasant guest. I like to write and read so when you need quiet I can entertain myself. I am an independent person so won't be relying on you for everything. I will also happily chip in some money for food, bills etc.
