Aspiring Astronaut, Surfer, Diver, Skater, Photo and Video Person!

Hi guys! I'm a 26 year old British traveller! I graduated from university in 2017 with a physics degree and I'm now travelling the world, capturing everything I can with my camera and posting it to Instagram and YouTube under the handle @thecamofsam. My mission in the Bremen right now is to network with space companies at Space Tech Expo Europe so I can build the framework of a career building rocket engines!

Back home I'm a surf instructor during the summer months so I'm big into my surfing and watersports! I love to scuba dive, freedive, rock climb. I love taking photos and video, so if you like to explore beautiful locations and do cool stuff then we're gonna get on well! I'm also into my music, playing guitar and piano and singing incredibly badly, so if you wanna jam, hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems to be the best way to get to know a place, and an amazing way to meet new people and make friends from around the world! Everyone I’ve met through couchsurfing so far have been the most amazing people, sharing a love for travel brings us together and allows us to share the most incredible stories!

When I first arrived in Australia I couchsurfed with a guy called Andy. He introduced me to all his friends on the first day, and little did I know they would become my best friends and surrogate family during me year in Sydney.
Making such amazing friends from that first proper couchsurfing experience gave me such a love for this platform and people on it!
