About Me
Hello! I'm Sam! I'm originally from London but have travelled as much as I can.
I always like to visit a place and get to know it by getting to know the locals, seeing how people actually live and hearing their accounts of life wherever I am. I'll always prefer making new friends over seeing the sites and getting 'the picture' that everyone else has got :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, find great places to stay on my travels and hopefully give people more information about life in London, England and what makes us tick. It's always great to exchange stories with friends and the more one talks to more people, the more one realises that we're actually all similar after all.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
Remainder - Tom McCarthy
The Kiterunner - Khaled Hosseini
The Reluctant Fundamentalist - Mohsin Hamid
Music:
Music is a massive part of my life - I've DJ'd since I was 13 years old and like music spanning genres and years.
Currently I listed to a lot of house music, with artists such as Julio Bashmore, Claptone, Duke Dumont, Todd Terje and many others. However that's not all I listen to and will often put on old funk, soul, classical, reggae, salsa or anything else that I feel like listening to.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It would bring me so much joy to be able to teach people English - I fully recognise that it's one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and a very desirable language to have. As a native speaker, I'm always happy to share :)
Food is one of the greatest unifiers of people - breaking bread with new friends is a surefire way of getting to know others around you. I love cooking and even more so, love cooking for other people.
