Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, connecting with people is a large reason for why I travel and couchsurfing acts as a tool for which to make that easier.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of the oldies in most respects. For music I am currently really liking Jon and Roy, but Sam Cooke is always coming up as a go to. In terms of literature I am, just about finished working my way through John Steinbeck's, and Ernest Hemingway's bibliographies, so pretty much any book by either of those fellas would sit atop my list currently. Something with a young Clint Eastwood would likely sit atop my list for favorite movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't really consider anything I've done up to the present amazing, but I've spent a lot of days running in the mountains, which for me, is always an amazing experience. I am currently travelling through the South Western US living out of the back of a Subaru hatchback, so that's also kind of amazing, I suppose.

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't have a lot to teach in terms of hard skills. Having said that, a lot can be learned through discussion, and I would consider myself a top notch discusser of things.
I am very much willing to try anything, particularly if it involves getting outside.
