My 2 main passions are travelling and skiing! I try and live my life combining these 2 passions and think I'm doing pretty well.

I used to work in banking for 5 and a half years back home in the UK, before one day thinking 'F$%& this! I'm going to do what I wan to do'. Since then I've lived in 4 different countries, travelled several others and have never looked back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since travelling I have heard only good things about couch surfing and think that it's probably about time that I check it out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Coldplay are my favourite band. I also like singer/songwriters and just generally love all sorts of music.

Favourite 3 movies are Shawshank redemption, Good Will Hunting and Crash.

I love reading Fantasy and also crime fiction. Love the Harry Potter books. I grew up reading them. They're the only books that I've read more than once (maybe about 6 or 7 times). Also like Ian Fleming, Arthur Conan Doyle, Jeffery Deavers, Joe Abercrombie, George R R Martin, Lian Hearn and Patrick Rothfuss just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege to do so many amazing things. If I was to pick one, I would say that it was hiking from Lukla to the base camp of Mt Everest in Nepal. A truly wonderful, challenging and beautiful experience.

I'm always keen to learn new things from different cultures and different people. I can teach you to complete a rubiks cube.
