I live on narrowboat based along the Rochdale canal. I have a spare double bed in the back of my boat and more than happy to offer that to anyone who needs somewhere to stay! I have plans to travel across the world this coming year 2024, to travel to all the continents and learn about simple traditional living so that I can bring these practices into my own life and share them on my return.

I can share my own experiences and love to talk with people about cooking, food preservation, nutrition and plant medicines among many other topics! I like to forage plants so am always eager to share what I know and learn more about what plants other cultures use for food and medicine. I love learning about different modern and ancient cultures.

I studied marketing at university and have an in depth knowledge of this topic, having ran my own online business for the past few years and worked for companies in this area. I can share my knowledge of online sales and try help you with ideas if this is something you want to pursue yourself. I am a native English speaker and would be more than happy to share my language with hosts/guests.

I have been living off the grid for a few years now and am passionate about becoming more self sufficient. I love to learn new things and meet new people. I have plans over the next year to travel and learn about organic farming, natural building and to building my knowledge more generally about local resources and how we can utilise them in a sustainable way so that we can live more harmoniously with nature. I would like to find a community or start one myself that uses these skills.

I listen to a large range of music and love discovering new artists, genres and sharing my own favourites with other people.
