I'm an outgoing, open minded half Australian half Italian Chef. I'm currently travelling for six months in Europe (mainly Italy) and then the USA... My biggest passions in this life are food, people and nature. I love a good discussion, about science, philosophy, the world, people, whatever! I like people who look deeper than the surface of this world and do things a bit differently!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I am not doing it to see all the sites. Especially in the city, I would much rather get a feel for the culture of the place, meet and talk to people, get the local perspective on the best way to experience their city. I have found that when staying in hostels or hotels it is hard to do this and I often feel like I missed out on seeing the real side of a place.
While in Italy I want to practice speaking Italian which is another reason I prefer to stay with people than a hotel!
When I return to Australia I will finish renovations on my house so I can host guests too... I love my country and love to be able to encourage people to come visit!
Though I'm new to my account on couch surfing I did use it on my last trip with my sister 6 years ago and had great experiences but under her account.
