I'm Sam and I am a student at the University of Antwerp. Like everyone ( especially here ) I love to travel and would like so see as much of the world as possible before I kick the bucket.

As mentioned, I love to travel, but because I'm a student, my means to do so are rather limited. That, and I don't want to see a country from a tourist, but rather a local perspective.

I love to read, study, talk about politics and I have a particular interest for the East-Asian part of the world. Oh, and I practice Karate and Kendo.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite movies are generally those that have Leonardo Di Caprio in it ( Wolf of Walstreet, ofcourse). If the movie has ´Star Wars' in it, sign me up! My all time favourite writer is Haruki Murakami, so ofcourse I adore his books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Pretty standard life. In the sixth grade I gave the graduation speech for about 3 hundred people and I loved it, also once I had an interview on national radio. In 2015 I visited Canada which in and of itself was quite an ordeal.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I hope that they immerse me in the local country and that I can give them a tiny glimpse of what it is like to be a student in Belgium. Long talks ( preferably about serious topics ) are definitely my cup of tea.
