Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great experiences! Met very interesting people, made good friends, slept in all kinds of beds...

Interests

Christa: What I like: being around good people, to hear their stories and to share about each others lifes. Mountains, nature, anmimals (especially goats :-) ) Dancing, singing, listening to music, concerts and musicals, watching movies, seeing things grow, hiking, swimming, rearranging furniture ...
Sam: I'm interested in many thing. I like nature and beeing outside and enjoying every season. I like listening to many kinds of music and also to play musical instruments. I'm interested in people and what they think and how they live and experience life. I like to get to know other cultures. I'm interested in art, especially in modern art. I like being creative and I make sculptures from iron.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sam: On my first big trip, I visited 12 countries in 14 month. I took the transiberian railway, drank tea in mongolian yourts, slept on the chinese wall, hiked on mount everest (but only up to 6500m), was an actor in an indian tv-comercial... and so on. The whole trip was an amazing experience, about which i also wrote and published a book.
On the second trip together with Christa we traveled to India overland from Switzerland, visited beautiful Sri Lanka, went trecking in Nepal, diving in Malaysia, saw wild elefants in Laos, rode across the USA, Canada and Alaska with our own car etc.
Skydiving in Fiji was a great experience for Sam, too.
