Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to CS and excited to take part in surfing. I plan to open my couch to travellers as soon as I have one but for now I will try to be a great guest as I travel around Europe.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I love classic rock sp. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, the Doors etc. and more contemporary alternative stuff like Beck, Radiohead, White Stripes with a bit of random 80's english wave or heavy metal or industrial...most everything but country

Books I love Vonnegut, Tom Wolfe, Ernest Hemingway, Tom Robbins, and Chuck Palaniuck to name a few, also a huge Sci fi nut Asimov, Heinlein, Herbert, Orson Scott Card, Arthur C. Clark, and Douglas Adams.

Movies I like all different genres but my favorite is the stuff done by Scorsese, Kubrick, Coppola, and Tarantino. My sci fi addiction carries over here too so I love Star Wars, Batman, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all there is to know about cell culture and mouse disection--though I'm not sure anyone would care to hear about it.

I want to learn to say cheers in as many languages as I can examples Prost, Zum Wohl, jamas, L'haim, Slainta, Fisehatak, Na Zdravi etc.
