About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn, and encourage sustainable living.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun person to be around, I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I am honest and respectful. I enjoy listening to music, biking with friends, being in the countryside, studying theology, eating new foods, thinking, finding a new favorite beer, laughing, hiking and be outdoors.
Currently I am residing in Germany to learn sustainable farming and home brewing.
My favorite memories are those I have made with others.
PHILOSOPHY
I think it is ideal to live with no hatred for both your neighbor nor the person you don't know who may live half way across the world. I think we as people have much to learn from each other and it is best when we can have a balance of interest and appreciation for others. I don't think of myself as any more important than anyone else. I know I have much to learn in life and that is also why I enjoy traveling so much. To me traveling is a fun learning experience that can never get old.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During these last two years I've been on Couch Surfing I have been traveling more than I have been at home. So I have more experience on the surfing side of things. When I am in Minnesota I really enjoy hosting though. I am looking forward to more Couch Surfing experiences, either by hosting or by surfing. I enjoy both greatly. I find the whole idea of Couch Surfing a very unique, purposeful and fun experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been in the Couchsurfing community a little over three years now. I have hosted a few people in Minnesota during this time, a lot of re-hosting, too many great people:) I have surfed about a dozen times throughout my travels. I have yet to have any negative experiences, however, to the contrary I have met some of the best people I know through Surfing and hosting alike! I look forward to meeting more great people!
Interests
Learning how to brew a proper beer, sustainable living, learning German, living on a farm, meeting people who also enjoy traveling, green living.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, jazz, jazz. I also enjoy choral, organ, and classical music. As far as books I enjoy theological books. As far as movies go, I don't watch many.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked from Finland down to southern Armenia.
However, I do have to say the most amazing thing I have experienced is genuine hospitality and fellowship. Nothing in my opinion can top these experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning from those with travel experience, and I also enjoy sharing what I have learned for those with less travel experience. I hope to teach others through my example and character. I am always looking for ways to respect and embrace other cultures. I would love to learn more about our world in general.
I love to share person stories and mini history lessons...they usually revolve around traveling, music, and Christian history. Additionally, some call me a beer enthusiast since I seem to have a story for each one I see.
Just ask me anything, I would love to share what I know!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch to sleep on, a great beer, and a wholesome meal and conversation.
