Hi! My name is Sergei but everyone calls me Sam.
I moved to St.Petersburg in 2018. I like to ski, trek/hike, mountainbike. Also, some alpinism and rock climbing.
My biggest personal accomplishment is that I climbed Mt. Elbrus (5642 m) all the way on foot from the bottom to the top, carrying 23 kg backpack. It took nine days and I was lucky enough to not to die (because I felt so terrible) or lose any of my fingers (because of freezing temperatures).
Also, I'm fond of backpacking and volunteering in the Winter Olympics, organic farms, and kindergartens.

From the very onset of my adventure called "couchsurfing" I absorbed the knowledge and passion to travel from my guests/hosts. The process of getting this experience is the reason why I'm on Couchsurfing
