ABOUT ME
NO LONGER LIVING/HOSTING IN PRAGUE, SORRY!!!
Traveling nomad at the moment as I push restart on my life. Trying to live with less and bring adventure back into my life after the long quarantine. New online business owner trying to manifest freedom in all the senses of the word. Educated. Multilingual, or trying to be. Proudly Queer. I've traveled alone a lot but am really at a time in my life when connections are a priority. Looking to meet like-minded or open-minded people, have interesting conversations, make new friends, and perhaps deep connections.
American by nationality, international heart, 2nd grade teacher turned small business owner, love to travel, meet new people, have a good time, connect, create a sense of community, learn new things, live fully in the moment.
PHILOSOPHY
"I want a life that sizzles and pops and makes me laugh out loud. And I don't want to get to the end, or to tomorrow, even, and realize that my life is a collection of meetings and pop cans and errands and receipts and dirty dishes. I want to eat cold tangerines and sing out loud in the car with the windows open and wear pink shoes and stay up all night laughing and paint my walls the exact color of the sky right now. I want to sleep hard on clean white sheets and throw parties and eat ripe tomatoes and read books so good they make me jump up and down, and I want my everyday to make God's belly laugh, glad that he gave life to someone who loves the gift." <3
be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. do not now seek the answers..the point is-to live everything-live the questions now.
-Rainer Maria Rilke
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." -Roald Dahl
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the best way to travel. My favorite travel memories are always when I have couch-surfed -- because of the amazing travel-spirited people!! It truly makes the trip a once in a lifetime experience, sharing cultures, stories, and fun together. Some of the most amazing things I have done are thanks to my hosts. I wouldn't have believed it until I tried it.
