About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'll begin by saying that I'm a (newly) post-grad from the University of Texas in Austin. After spending my last four years studying Rhetoric and Writing and earning a minor in Business I've decided to travel the world for the next two years. Beginning in the fall of 2014 I'll be traveling for 2 months around Europe discovering, learning, building relationships and finding inspiration for the next best selling novel.

PHILOSOPHY

“Hardship often prepares an ordinary person for an extraordinary destiny.”
― C.S. Lewis

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fall 2014: During my travels I will provide those who take me under their roof with a new perspective of the world and those who inhabit it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience, but I'd love to fill this space with insightful tips and personal encounters with fellow surfers.

Interests

People. Learning. Writing. Reading. Discovering. I love music. Live music, singing to music, dancing to music. I love the outdoors: Running, hiking, biking you name it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading a secret screenplay that will soon be turned into a movie (stay tuned)!

Favorite movie I've seen this summer is "Boyhood." The film was shot over a 12 year period all over Texas (Austin and Houston mostly). It's a coming of age story that had "nostalgia" for 90's kids written all over it.

My music taste varies daily, but I do have an allegiance to alternative/classic and acoustic rock as well as blues and soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm still thinking about something "AMAZING" to fill this space.

But for now: It was always my dream to get published. That felt pretty amazing.
