CURRENT MISSION

Epic adventures, exploration, and figuring out life. This trip is 1/3 exchange (Chinese University of Hong Kong), 1/3 backpacking & volunteering (South East Asia and India), 1/3 professional work (TBD)

ABOUT ME

Just finished my undergrad on exchange in Hong Kong and now I'm adventuring around the world as long as money will last me. I'm still figuring life out, not really sure what I want to do upon my return to reality, but I'm a fan of entrepreneurship, want to do something that has some significance to someone other than myself, and I've got a decent amount of programming experience, so probably something that involves those things.

PHILOSOPHY

Travelling is life's dessert, but it's best not to confuse it with the main course.

Just looking to make a difference in someones life (multiple people would be a bit better). Things that really matter are finding something you love doing, doing it fucking well, finding people you love and spending all the time you can with them, trying new things and always pushing your comfort zone.

I've only surfed at this point, I'd love to have people at my house in Toronto, but my parents aren't crazy about the idea. As soon as I have my own place I'd love to host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most recently surfed in Kolkata, and looking forward to meeting more great people across India!

First experiences were in Australia where I surfed in Sydney, Brisbane, Noosa, and Cairns had tons of fun every time!

Música, películas y libros

Music: Love a wide variety of shit. Most recently obsessed with Goldfish, Bakermat, SZA, Diangelo and Kendrick Lamar. Always down for the classics (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc...). Saw Earth Wind and Fire live and was totally blown away. Huge fan of electronic fusion. Always up for some good rave music!

Shows I love: Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Archer, Community, etc. I much prefer good TV over movies (a story can be told in 10hrs instead of 2 1/2)in general but try to go every once and a while.

Love reading, though I don't do it as much as I should. Big fan of fantasy and sci fi, recently read A Thousand Years of Solitude and it blew me away. Slowly plodding through Game of Thrones

Rented a scooter and drove solo from Hue to Da Nang (about 3 hrs) at 5am to catch a flight back to Hong Kong. Most beautiful drive I've ever done

There is a massive wealth of knowledge out there. Everyone has so much to teach, and so much to learn. I love to share my experiences with whoever is interested enough to listen. Have crazy stories? Interesting random facts? I'm all ears. I'm a general lover of knowledge
