About Me

A muslim boy from Uzbekistan. Study in Turin, Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe that the best way to truly experience a new city is through the eyes of the people who live there. After my cycling adventure in Turin, I realized that travel is not just about visiting landmarks like the Allianz Stadium, but about the stories and people you meet along the way. I want to connect with locals, share my Uzbek culture, and have meaningful conversations about life, science-fiction movies, and personal growth.

Interests

My main passion is traveling and exploring the world actively. I love long-distance cycling adventures. I’m also very much into fitness and outdoor activities such as hiking or simply walking around new cities to discover hidden spots.
When I’m relaxing indoors, I enjoy diving into the world of sci-fi movies and classic literature. Personal development books are also a constant interest of mine. Lastly, I'm genuinely interested in meeting new people and learning about their cultures and perspectives on life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of Sci-Fi and gripping dramas. My top picks are Interstellar and Passengers. I also love intense stories like Peaky Blinders or action-packed adventures like Jurassic Park, Avatar, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fast & Furious, and Allied. I enjoy movies that are either visually stunning or have a deep, engaging plot.

I mainly focus on personal development books to grow as a person, but I have a deep appreciation for classic literature and meaningful novels. I admire the works of Dostoevsky, Kafka, and the great Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi. The last book I read was 'To Live' by Yu Hua, which left a profound impression on me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I explored the city of Turin entirely by bicycle, covering a massive distance to visit famous landmarks, including an epic ride out to the Allianz stadium.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of the Uzbek language and introduce you to our rich culture and traditions. I can also share tips on budget traveling, planning long bicycle rides in new cities (like I did in Turin!), or teach you how to cook a simple but delicious Uzbek plov.

I'm keen to learn about local history and the best hidden spots in your city. I'd love to learn simple phrases in your language, try new cuisines, and understand how people in your country view the world. Learning about different cinema styles and local literature also excites me.

I’m here to share stories from my travels and my life experiences. I can share my enthusiasm for adventure and exchange recommendations for sci-fi movies or personal development books. I'm ready to contribute to a great cultural exchange and have meaningful conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot! Firstly, great stories from my travels, like my long bicycle journey to the Allianz Stadium in Turin. I'm happy to offer practical skills, too, such as simple Uzbek language lessons or teaching you how to play basic card games from my childhood.
I can also share my perspective on Central Asian culture, discuss our favorite sci-fi movies and books, and most importantly, I can share my time and attention to have engaging conversations and create a genuine cultural exchange.
