About me is about us: My partner in travels and life is Lea (see the profile picture).

Our big journey trough Asia started 2014 and ended 2016. We saw many places. A lot of South East Asia, India, Sri Lanka and Iran. And we loved it.
There were long busrides and uncomfortable roads but also great experiences with wonderful people and all kind of things you never saw before. Especially food. We love to try new food and are curious about everything on a foreign menu.

Beeing back home feels weired. Switzerland means high standards and comfort and we enjoy some of it. It's sometimes hard to enjoy if you think of the places and people we've seen that really are in need.

We do like it quiet as much as we need some good party from time to time, actually Lea is the partyperson.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We traveled all over the world, booking guesthouses and checking guidebooks but now we changed our way of travel from the basic.
No more Lonelyplanet, no more Tripadvisor! Iran is the first country we explored without any information but the one we get from first hand and on the spot. It's a much bigger adventure and you have to be very flexible but it's fun and we meet so many nice people. Couchsurfing is the perfect tool for this, that's why.

We both love to read. Lea never has enough books around her.
I like to draw and play music with the Uke.
We both love to sing aswell.

And boooooks. We are so glad somebody invented eBooks. Otherwise we would have to carry tons of books.
