Hey nice to meet you! I'm Samantha and I've been living in Costa Rica for over 6 years. Originally from the UK, I've lived in 4 continents and travelled to almost 30 countries. My dream is to one day save up enough to go travelling throughout the whole world backpacking.

I know how difficult it can be travelling when on a budget so couchsurfing can be a great option to save money and have local knowledge from someone who knows the country well.

I love all kind of music, however my favourites would be psychedelice rock from the 60s and 70s. I love The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and much more. I also love blues and singers such as Amy Winehouse, Tracy Chapman and Nina Simone, I'm a huge fan of! Other genres that I like are trip-hop, reggae, electronic and musica latina.

I love to read. I love writers such as Isabel Allende and Margaret Atwood- Harry Potter is good too!

I love gritty British movies like Trainspotting and fightclub. Supense movies and horror too!

I think i've done quite a few cool things ( although many people have done much more). One trip that stands out was when I went backpacking in Australia for year alone at 19. It was great!

I live in a beautiful house in Santa Ana, not far from the capital of San Jose but away from the hustle and bustle. Santa Ana is a lovely quiet town with great weather.

I have plenty of room and can offer a spare room for 2-3 nights no problem! I rent a two bedroom house that has lots of green and outside space as well as a shared pool.
