Well, I am new to couch surfing. But I am so inspired and excited by all of the people on this website and hope to make this the way I travel in the future!

But more about me personally right? I am a personal chef and devoted cook, busy mom, avid reader, gardener and goofy soul. I am outgoing and forthright. I rarely let an opinion go unexpressed, but respect the opinions of those around me. I love to joke around, laugh, have serious conversations, think openly and am generally accepting of just about everyone with few exceptions. I love meeting new people and learning about them- their loves, hates, interests, thoughts.

I love all kinds of music. I tend toward indie and was a punk rock kid in my youth. A sensibility I still maintain. I enjoy being outside. I love to travel and as a family we try to travel as often as we can- domestic and international. My 6 year old has been on a plane 5 times, 3 of those trips were international.

Music: Indie and Punk- though I also really feel very affectionately toward Dolly Parton. Oh and Bruce. All. Day.
Books: Saying I eat books sounds too intense so I'll just say, I'm always reading. I am currently reading The Bridal Chair- a book about the Chagalls and their flight from Nazi occupied France.
Movies: I like dumb movies. Films are great but could we just watch Wedding Crashers? I'll watch your Russian movie about the KGB if you want though.
