About Me
There's nothing I love more than getting fully immersed in a new culture, a new language, a new landscape.
Nomadism and slow-living are two of my major goals in life! The idea of a lifestyle that allows you to actually be in the present, enjoying the small pleasures of life, with time for contemplation and connection (to people, to spaces, to activities), brings joy to my heart!
When travelling, I love watching local performances (even when I don't understand the language), visiting galleries and museums, tasting the local food, walking aimlessly and getting lost in a new town...
I'm a very artistic person and I can safely say that theatre has made me a better human being . (:
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm embarking on a long, nomadic journey through southern Europe and couchsurfing is the perfect way to get to know the locals, see their towns from their perspective, and keep my travels on a low budget. I love this spirit of connection and collaboration!
I'm currently not hosting, but whenever I'm home I'd love to show you around and take you for a nice cup of coffee

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm basically singing all the time (mostly to myself and often off-key)
My favourite music genre is definitely Brazilian folk music - I just loooove Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Elza Soares, Maria Bethania...
One of my passions is actually getting to know traditional folk songs from different places around the world - I've been collecting some of them from my travels.
Movies and books are also a huge part of my life.
I was initially a literature student at uni and have been doing my share of acting over the years... So, these two things are more than just hobbies or leisure activities to me.
I'm the kind of person who would gladly spend a whole afternoon at a coffee shop reading a good book.
Favourite authors at the moment: Patti Smith, Jane Austen, Clarice Lispector, Virginia Woolf...
When it comes to films, I will love most anything - from RomComs to the Nouvelle Vague ( I just draw a line at horror movies - not my cup of tea at all)
