I am in my early 20's and lately I have been feeling lost with myself and out of touch with the world. After reading many travel blogs about people successfully traveling the world, and being very happy doing it, it occurred to me that the reason I feel so lost is that I haven't given myself the opportunity to get out there and experience all that there is out there. I currently want to visit Australia, it has been a place that has appealed to me for a long while. I want to work my way around the coast and divulge in the, according to friends and travel bloggers, the experience of a lifetime. I am young, but I know that if I stay in my little hometown, I will forever regret missing out on the opportunity to live life to its fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found this site through a travel blog, yes I have been on many, and it came highly recommended. I have a friend who travels solely through couch surfing and she said it is the way to go. To me, one doesn't fully grasp a culture from a hotel window where most likely it is just myself, and as a social being I believe that spending time with someone who has opened up their home to fellow travelers will reap a much higher reward of knowledge and overall contentment with the travel experience.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, I will cross mountains if I am promised a spectacular view. Swimming, art, music is a big part of my life, comedy, hammocking, camping. I love to be outdoors but I also enjoy staying in with good company.

I am one of those people that has a love of all genres. While I prefer hip hop, electronic, and indie music, I will always enjoy anything that is playing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participate in a "tough-mudderesque" event called Mudderella. It essentially is a couple mile long obstacle course through a muddy terrain, where everyone works together, it is not a race, to overcome obstacles and a good portion of the proceeds go to a cause for women against domestic violence. It is such a wonderful experience that has a huge communal feel.
