Hi, I'm Samantha, 22 years old and originally from the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. I've been living on my own since I was 18, which has taught me a lot about independence and self-discovery. I completed a one-month bartending course in Stockholm, where I learned to mix over 65 different cocktails and earned a certificate at the end of the course. The experience was incredibly enriching, as I studied the history of various spirits, learned flair bartending techniques and to pour spirits without a scale. This course not only improved my bartending skills but also gave me a deeper appreciation for the craft and culture of mixology.

In addition to my bartending course, I also hold barista and mixology certificates. The barista training has trained me with the knowledge and skills to create the perfect cup of coffee, from espresso to latte art. I understand the complexities of coffee bean origins, roasting techniques, and brewing methods, allowing me to craft a variety of delicious coffee beverages.

My mixology certificate further adds to my bartending skills. This certification covers advanced cocktail-making techniques, flavor pairing, and the use of fresh, unique ingredients to elevate drink presentation and taste. The mixology training has expanded my creativity and ability to develop new and exciting cocktail recipes.

The course also introduced me to the fascinating stories behind different spirits and cocktails, including the origin and the development. I learned about the different processes involved in creating spirits like whiskey, rum, and vodka, and how these methods impact the final flavor profiles.

Additionally, I practiced flair bartending, which involves performing tricks and stylish maneuvers while making drinks. This skill not only adds an entertaining element to bartending but also improves my coordination and confidence behind the bar.

Throughout the course, I met a diverse group of people from all over the world, each with their unique stories and perspectives. We shared our passion for bartending and the hospitality industry, creating a supportive and fun learning environment. This experience has inspired me to continue exploring the world of bartending and to incorporate these skills into my travels.
