I am a primary school teacher and a private tutor. I traveled Europe quite a bit when i was living in England, and absolutely love to wonder around a new city. I also really enjoy hiking and camping! I like live music, particularly Jazz, funk, psychedelia, rock and any mixture of the four. I'm crafty and artsy: I draw, make bracelets, do embroidery, and love any art collaboration with friends.

I'm really into anything that is funky or jazzy, but the best is a mixture of both and especially when it is improvisational. That being said, I can dig almost anything. I can really get into some ambient stuff, psychedelic stuff, classic rock, interesting percussion, or music with electronic elements.

I really like in Neil Gaiman (the author) and am working through all of his books and comic books. I also had a phase with Chuck Palanuick and Philip K Dick. Recently I was suggested Herman Hesse and am beginning to take a liking.

I worked at a reptile zoo for 5 years. I did educational reptile shows for birthday parties, schools and events. I worked with lizards, snakes (large and small), alligators, crocodiles, turtles, tortoises, and arachnids. It was a blast and led to a fairly good reptile collection. Sadly I had to dissipate that collection when I moved to England. I am back in Canada now though.

I can make bracelets out of embroidery thread, I can also embroider with embroidery thread. I'm a novice juggler; I am a teacher so I could teach any of these skills. I also have a bachelors in philosophy so I just love a good philosophical discussion, whether its a debate or building a theory together.

Other than crafty fun?! we can share a good time! lots of laughs! I think primarily a good conversation. I love to chat and listen, and will often be engrossed in discussions which last hours. I am also always up for an adventure. I can show you places in my city which I love, or maybe we could explore a part of your city which neither of us have seen before!
