What makes me happy?
A good cup of coffee, sunshine on my face, my daughter's laughter, a warm homemade pastry, the flowing water. I love water.

What's my dream?
To homeschool my daughter Declan. I dream of living self-sufficiently on a farm, raising animals, growing my own fruits and vegetables, and taking the time to travel more. To show my daughter this big beautiful world!

Who is my favorite person?
My father - passed away when I was only the age of 23, but not a day goes by without him on my mind.
My daughter- amazes me daily.

Some more things about me.
I am a city girl from Miami Florida. Fell in love with a farmer, and moved to Wisconsin 6 months later to live a more simple life (cliff note version).

Since living in Wisconsin I've learned how to grow my own food, harvest, and preserve! I've learned how to live a sustainable life. My partner Isaac and I have a beautiful daughter named Declan and one of my biggest and greatest accomplishments is being her mother. I love being a mom!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel more!
Travel takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new surroundings but also to engage with different people, embrace adventures as they come, and share new and meaningful experiences.

We are taking this leap into Couchsurfing as a family because we want to give our daughter more experiences. She is growing up fast and our time is limited. We want to immerse ourselves in cultures that are far different
from ours.

Ok- this is going to sound super cheesy but my favorite movie is "French Kiss" with Meg Ryan & Kevin Kline. Love Comedies from the 90's.

I love live music! Big fan of Jazz, Bluegrass, Blues, Jam bands, and Rock.

Books- big fan of memoirs and looking for some new reads!

Changed the entire course of my life with one adventure- coming to Wisconsin to learn how to make cheese.

What can I teach and share?
Homesteading- have learned to live a sustainable and minimalistic lifestyle.
Cooking- since we eat with the seasons- we cook that way. We get creative with the ingredients we have available.
Sewing- I have intermediate sewing skills. Sewing apparel is my passion.

What do I want to learn?
A Language. I am learning Spanish but want to immerse myself and learn more languages. I want to be confident in conversation.
Sailing- Would love to learn how to sail.
Traveling on a budget- Learn ways to travel places on a budget while having more experiences.
