Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just looking for a dry roof, safety and good company if it's available.
Can accommodate between Huddersfield and Wakefield, sofa only.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first and last experience worked really well for everyone. The chap who hosted me and my daughter in London then got to stay with us in Sheffield when he was back from his Lake District trip. Everyone happy.
Interests
Chance encounters whilst travelling, being creative whether it's painting, music, writing, storytelling, dancing. I love a good conversation and have happily lived without a tv / computer. Usually have my camera with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing up the BIG hill behind the tombs in Valley of the Kings, watching all the ant like people shuffling off coaches, taking pictures and then shuffling back on. Feeling really grateful that I was walking and sitting amongst millions of tree fossils and getting the full experience.
Being a bothy in the Scottish Highlands on new years eve - four weeks after a back operation. Watching the snow come down and being so content with the shelter and the basics, that was all I needed.
A thunder storm in the sahara desert = being in a bedouin tent drums playing and loving everyone and every moment.
