Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction studying how we can use technologies to make the world a better place. I'm interested in children learning about mindfulness, grown-ups learning about children, and everybody learning about empathy. My work involves a combination of science and activism, and I love to share it with people.
Also, I love Pittsburgh with my whole heart. Every Sunday, there's a park full of people juggling, slacklining, laying in hammocks, and doing flips off of each other's feet. I'm usually one of those people. I'll probably try convincing you to check it out with me when you're here.
Right now I live in a very small (but super cute) one-bedroom that is basically just my bedroom + a living room. The living room has a pretty big, comfy couch. It'd be good for one person, or maybe two people who wanted to snuggle. Not a whole lot of options for privacy. I live in a neighborhood called Friendship that is pretty central to a lot of things, and it'd probably be pretty easy for you to get around.
No pets, but enthusiastically yes to tiny humans!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love strangers so much. Someone once called me pathologically extroverted. So far, it's never done me wrong.
I am also maybe one of Pittsburgh's biggest fans, and I love helping people figure out good ideas for what they should do while they're here.
