ABOUT ME

( 2017 Update: looking back these stuff I wrote years ago...I seriously should have rewritten everything here when I have some time, but well, it's always our past self which lead to our current self right? )

From the old me :
I am a bit shy when meeting strangers. However, if we talk more, then soon I will be the talkative, friendly and warm girl as described by my friends. Although talkative, I am a good listener indeed because I like listening to others' lives stories, which is also one of the reasons why I love going travel. I don't like partying or alcohol as much as the europeans do, instead I prefer laid-back chats and maybe a drink comfortably at home with friends.

Besides, I love beautiful architecture and the nature , which had made Europe a dream place to me since I was small. I really enjoy the atmosphere of laying down on grassland just relaxing and have a picnic when the weather is nice. This can make my day.

From time to time, sometimes I think a lot but sometimes I don't. After travelling for a bit more in my exchange period, I realized that how little I know. I would love to learn about everything but how am I supposed to really EVERYTHING in the world? So sometimes I will just embrace the fact that I am naive, or simple in other words. Life is so short, just enjoy every tiny moments. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I know the world has a lot to offer and I would like to embrace the world. I believe life isn't just about work.

I am still a student back in Hong Kong at the moment, and I am still not so clear about what my future should be like. When I got some free time, I usually spend on entertainments like movies, music, and most of the time hanging out with my friends just as most teenagers worldwide.
Yet, I know the world is big and there is still many things out there for me to explore. That's why I want to go on a trip, to meet new people, to explore gorgeous views or just to put myself under a totally different environment and culture. Or simply as an adventure! I really love travel, just like everyone here does :D

Other interest: foreign languages and cultures, food , discovering sweeties(choco, yogurts..^_^), music and making friends all over the world!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love the movie"Into the Wild" which is an enlightening movie. Not very famous, but if you know what is about this movie, perhaps you will have deeper understanding about me.

In fact I love watching films and I listen to musics a lot. I also used to read a lot years before when I have more free time (little time for myself recently sadly). But don't ask me about my favourite because I tend to forget them even though I enjoy it. I think my brain is kind of too small for all the things I want to remember :P

Now my favourite book is the little prince, I am trying to collect the book in all languages wherever I travel to.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When answering this, I recalled many valuable moments in my life. Getting an offer from an university ( in HK only 18% of teenagers can be admitted to universities), travelling to the Melbourne town center from my staying town by train all by my own ( 2 years ago when I first experienced travelling alone) and one year ago when I cycled for many many hours then saw the really wonderful beach with my friend in Taiwan..
And I know there's much more.

(Oh and my grand balkan trip... I can tell you everything about it when we meet, if you are interested)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

In fact I reckon that I know so little about this world so I am basically open to all new/unknown things, but I really enjoy to learn about other culture and languages. I always try to learn a little bit of the language from people. I can speak some sentences or two in Japanese, French, Spanish, Russian, Korean (in descending order). Test me!

One thing quite special that I also know is some origami tricks, but just a few because I have already forgotten most of them. I would be happy to show you one, in case you don't know how to fold a swan..

My laughter, a good friend of mine once characterized it as "infectious". hahahahahahaha

Though I don't always remember them, but I have had a lot of funny things happened in my life, and I am trying to improve my story-telling skills :)
