Overview
About Me
I'm often hosting or surfing with my boyfriend, Anthony. His profile can be found here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/cruxnexus
ABOUT ME
My life consists of: making pretty pictures for money, making people laugh, making big plans. Trying to make my cats get along. Trying to cook more and eat better. Trying to get rid of stuff and make more room in my life for friends, family and other awesome people.
And after a bit of a hiatus (due to moving) I'm happy to report that our couch is open once more!
PHILOSOPHY
Treat people with love and respect, continue to learn and grow throughout my life, experience awe whenever possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with some wonderful hosts when I took an impromptu trip to Los Angeles, and have enjoyed hosting people since then. I've also gotten to know some of the fantastic members of San Antonio's Couchsurfing community. They are among the most interesting and generous people I've ever met.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- mostly animation, foreign, independent, and ridiculous comedies.
Music- Electronic music of various kinds, rock, classical, folk, world, some country.
Books- My very favorite book is Contact by Carl Sagan. I would go so far as to call it my bible. Others include Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, The Bone People by Keri Hulme, The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. Sci-fi in general. Some non-fiction when the topic strikes my interest (psychology, philosophy, linguistics, feminism and gender, the occasional biography). Also, young adult sci-fi and fantasy novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2015 I hiked 1,300 miles on the Appalachian Trail, so that was pretty great. Hopefully I'll get to go back and finish one of these days.
My two greatest concert experiences were The Knife and Neutral Milk Hotel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you some Spanish, or various things on the computer, or how to draw something, or how to make something tasty out of plants. Half the time, I don't realize I know something until I have to use it, so you'll be as surprised as I will.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not to boast, but I've got some decent cooking skills and I love making food for people. I can teach you how to play a fun drawing game. And I always make a point to leave your space at least as clean as I found it.
