HELLO! I am Sam and this is Gareth!

Here is a little about each of us:

Gareth is 30, a musician and beer pourer. He grew up in the North of England and I can't understand a word he is saying half the time. He likes building amps, exploring the world, climbing mountains, confusing colours, growing beards, camping, eco-housing, photography and pho.

Sam is 29, an artist and an on hold naturopathy student. I grew up in the countryside of Australia and it definitely shows when I'm amongst my kind. I enjoy making anything I can, sewing, eating noodles, taking photos, painting, giving stick'n'poke tattoos, gardening and camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are new to Couchsurfing but are super excited to meet new people along our upcoming journey across the globe. We are setting off from Australia; my homeland, flying to Thailand and heading over land scooping through SE Asia, up through China, taking the train from Beijing to Moscow in Russia and then across Europe, over the sea to England; Gareths homeland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We hiked for four days through Wilson Prom and it was the most challenging and also the most beautiful place we've seen.
