I've been traveling for the past year and a half and I've decided to settle in Taiwan for a while! Currently working as an ESL teacher in Kaohsiung. My hopes are to connect with likeminded people and make the most of my time here on this beautiful island! I speak fluent English and French and am currently taking Mandarin lessons, so I'm always down to practice a second or third language with someone :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never used couchsurfing before - there wasn't as much of a network in Asia, and it didn't serve much as a cost saving measure because accommodation was so cheap. However, I think couchsurfing is a great way to connect with likeminded people and maybe save a penny or two to put towards the travel jar. Also love to be able to help someone feel comfortable and confident when they're new to a place! My travel experiences wouldn't have been the same without some basic advice from other travelers or tips from locals.
